PETROL TAX REFUNDS
PROCEDURE ANNOUNCED Petrol tax refunds on fuel used for machines other than those required to be licensed under the Motor Vehicles Act, will be made at the end of March, June, September and December. This is the official pronouncement. Applications must be made within. SO days of consumption, and must be supported by such documentary evidence as is required. A supply of forms will be available shortly at all post offices, and must be filled in and returned to the motor registration officials. The penalty for a false declaration is £SO or three months’ imprisonment.
