PICTURE THEATRE FIRE
BLAZE AT OKAIHAU Y.M.C.A. HALL BURNED (From Our Own Correspondent) OKAIHAU, To-day. Some time after the picture programme concluded last night, about 11.30 o’clock, the Y.M.C.A. hall was burned to the ground. The fire originated near the anteroom at the side of the building. • Willing workers were successful in saving the picture, and lighting plants, but everything else, including the piano, was totally destroyed.
