PRISONERS SENTENCED
WELLINGTON SESSION Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Prisoners were sentenced by the Chief Justice to-day as follows: Alfred James Mueller, a mechanic, aged 34, for bigamy and making a false statement of entry in the register of Wanganui, three years' hard labour on the first charge, one year, concurrent, on the second. Rolf Ronald Cooke, an upholsterer, aged 26, years, for making a false statement relating to a postal packet at Hawera, two years’ probation, a special condition being that he abstain from liquor during that time. Frederick John Dean Board, a carpenter, aged 46 years, breaking, entering and theft at Wellington, two qharges, two years' hard labour. Sydney Charles Deckle, labourer, aged 37 years, two years’ hard labour, on two similar charges. . George Thomas Rouse,- labourer, aged 20 years, for forgery and uttering at Patea, goes back to the State Farm from which he was licensed out.
