Earl Beauchamp, a former Governor of New South Wales, who is one of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners, In a speech at Rugby, said that if the new Ersyer Book were again rejected the question of the disestablishment of the Church would become urgent. Personally he had no objection to the new hook. He had seen so much of the strenght of the Church in the self-governing Dominions that he felt that such a step ■night even increase her strength in England.— A. and N.Z.
