The presence of the English players has lent additional interest to the tourney. For the semi-final of the North Island singles to-morrow Miss Retallack and Miss Steele will meet in the lower half. Col. Du Pre waiting for the winner of the Caughley-Murray game in the upper half. In the North Island championship doubles Mrs. McDowell and Mrs. Cole play Mrs. Skeet and Miss Skeet in the semi-final to-morrow, and. winners will meet Col. Du Pre and Miss Steele in the final games.
