NEW PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT The prolific pen of Peter B. Kyne has provided Hoot Gibson with another thrilling screen vehicle, “A Hero on Horseback,” the firm version of his popular short story entitled “Bread Upon the Waters.” This UniversalJewel Western lias been booked for presentation at the Capitol Theatre tonight. Filmed under the direction of Del Andrews, the picture will unquestionably appeal strongly to old and new admirers of the dashing cowboy firm star. The cast includes Etlilyne Clair, Edwards Davis, Eddie Hearn, and Dan Mason. A daring drama, .unusual in theme and treatment, skilfully directed and superbly acted, “The Crystal Cup.” First picturisation of Gertrude Atherton’s novel, also to be shown at the Capitol, is easily one of the finest pictures seer? for many a month. “The Cr3*stal Cup” goes into me intricate and intriguing matter of psycho-analysis and the interesting discoveries of Freud. It reflects the turbulent soul of a sensitive woman, oppressed by an unhappy experience of early youth, which affects her conduct and outlook on life for years.
