DR, MARIE STOPES SUED By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. The editor of the “Morning Post,” Mr. H. A. Gwynne, has been awarded £2OO damages in the libel action against Dr. Marie Stopes, arising out of her letter to the Duke of Northumberland suggesting that Roman Catholics were manipulating the paper because the “Morning Post” refused to continue publishing the Society of Constructive Birth Control’s advertiseand N.Z.
