HYSTERIA AMONG DOGS
STRANGE EPIDEMIC IN BRITAIN LONDON, Jan. 20. Canine hysteria, a mysterious disease, is spreading rapidly all over Britain. It is believed that it is not contagious, but is conveyed by a subtle form of auto-suggestion. Many animals have been cured by a diet c-f wholemeal bread, which, apparently, makes racing greyhounds immune. The King’s veterinary surgeon, Professor P. T. G. Hobday, is raising £ 20,000 for research into the malady.
