ENGLISH CROQUET TEAM’S EASY VICTORY MATCHES AGAINST AUCKLAND TEAM A. decisive win far the English croquet team, which is at present touring New Zealand, was recorded at the Mount Eden Croquet Club’s green yesterday. The visitors played an Auckland team, and the match attracted a large attendance, over a thousand people beifcg present. The green looked a picture. The matches resulted as follow:

Miss Steele and Sir Francis Ccl-ehester-Wemyss (26) defeated Miss Workman and Mrs. Fullarton (8). Miss Retallack and Colonel Du Pre (26) defeated Mrs. Schnauer and Mr. R. Lawrence (4). Miss Steele and Sir Francis Colchester -Wemyss (26) defeated Mrs. Lowe and Miss Hilton (3). Miss Retallack and Colonel Du Pre (26) defeated Mrs. Airey and Mr. R. Lawrence (3).
