PREMIER BAVIN FISHING AT TAUPO
GOOD SPORT ENJOYED (From Our Own Correspondent) TAUPO, To-day. The Premier of New South Wales, the Hon. T. R. Bavin, had some good sport fishing on Lake Taupo yesterday. With him were Miss Bavin, Captain Broadhurst and Mrs. Broadhurst, and Mr. G. A. Buddie and Messrs. Axdell and Terex, of the Internal Affairs Department. The ladies of the party took ten fish trolling- while the men took 22 fish on the fly in Whakaipo Bay. Mr. Bavin took six fish, and Captain Broadhurst eight. Mr. Buddie secured the largest fish, which turned the scale at 811 b.
