FAREWELL PARTY

Mrs. J. W. Reid, of Herne Bay, was the hostess at a bright little bridge party at her home yesterday afternoon, given in farewell to M>s. J. Lloyd, who is leaving town on Friday for an extended tour of India and the East, and Miss Ada Hill, who leaves next. week for a visit to England. Mrs. Reid received her guests wearing an attractive frock of French voile in a figured design of multi-colouring. Mrs. Lloyd was wearing a smart frock of navy blue crepe marocain, with a hat of pimpernel pink shading. Miss Hill chose an ensemble suit of beige silk, and wore a hat to match. During the afternoon bridge prises were awarded, and dainty little trophies were presented to the guests of honour.
