DEATH AT NORFOLK
GENERAL Y. C. M. SELLHEIM ADMINISTRATOR OF ISLAND The death occurred this morning of Brigadier-General V. C. M. Sellheim, C. 8., C.M.G., Administrator of Norfolk Island. - THE following message was received to-day by Captain W. McDonald, master of the Hlnemoa, from the Collector of Customs, Norfolk Island: "General Sellheim passed away this raoming of heart failure.” General Sellheim was appointed Administrator of Norfolk by the Australian Commonwealth Government on Sis retirement from the position of Ad-jutant-General to the Australian military forces. He served in the South African War and the late war. During the Great ” ar he held the position of AssistantAdjutant and Quartermaster-General on the headquarters staff of the First Australian Division. He commanded a°tl organised the A.I.F. intermediate in Egypt and later commanded A.I.F. headquarters and was appointed General Officer Commanding “‘•Australian troops in Egypt. Tl>e late General sellheim was 62 Joers of age and was born in Sydney.
