In an international Rugby match at Swansea in the presence of 40,000 spectators, England defeated Wales by 10 points to 8. The field of play was so waterlogged that the fire brigade had to pump it out. The spectators were crouching under umbrellas with their legs wrapped in rugs and newspapers.—A. and N.Z.-Sun. „ :
