AKARANA RIFLE CLUB SATURDAY’S SHOOTING Members of the Akarana Rifle Club competed on Saturday for trophies presented by Messrs. H. F. Brewer, A. G. Devore and J. F. Atkinson, over the ranges of 800yds. and 900yds. Conditions were not favourable for good shooting. A light left wind proved very troublessome to most marksmen. Silver spoons were won by Riflemen A. H. Dixon, T. Elliott, jun., and R. Pye. Trophy points were awarded to the three top men in each section. Details are as follows: A Section (Mr. H. F. Brewer’s Trophy). —A. H.
