COLLISION AT NORTHCOTE

MOTOR-CAR DAMAGED A motor-car, owned and driven by Mr. J. Rigby, Birkenhead, collided with a motor-lorry owned by H. Bray and Co., Onehunga, and driven by N. Hammond, in Queen Street, Northcote, on Saturday afternoon. The motor-car was extensively damaged and was removed to the garage opposite the scene of the accident. The particular corner where the accident occurred has been looked upon as dangerous to motorists, and the Northcote Borough Council has been endeavouring to obtain sufficient ground from the owners of the properties abutting to widen the road and give a clearer vision.
