JOINT COMMITTEES WILL DISCUSS POSITION
An hour was spent by the City Council last evening discussing water shortages m committee. It was de* ciaed that a joint committee of the Works and Water Committees inquire into the possibilities in Huia Valley. r TI le discussion arose from a report from the Waterworks Committee which again recommended that a double shift should be worked on the Upper Huia dam with the idea of getting it into operation by next summer.
