COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Elsie Mary sailed last evening for Gisborne. She is expected back again early next week.

The Isabella de Fraine is expected to arrive from Hokianga as soon as the weather moderates. She will sail probably on Saturday on the return trip. The Coronation is due any time now from Awanui. She loads to-morrow and sails at noon on Saturday for the same port. The Waipu is waiting at Whangarei for the weather to moderate before returning to Auckland. The Richardson steamer Awahou will arrive during the weekend from the East Coast to load again for Gisborne. The Akaroa sailed early yesterday morning for Hikutaia to pick up a raft of logs. The Waipu was to be dispatched shortly after noon to-day for Kerepeehi. She arrives.back again at midnight to-morrow night. The Taniwha, sailing at half-past eight this evening for Paeroa, returns again at two o'clock on Saturday morning. The Rangitoto sailed this morning for Thames, She is due back at nine o’clock this evening and sails at 1 p.m. to-mor-row for the same port. The Waiuku, arriving at six o’clock this evening from Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha, sails at 6.30 p.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Claymore, arriving at seven o’clock this evening for Whangarei, returns again at half-past three on Saturday morning. The Hauiti arrives from Kopu and Turua at six o’clock this evening and sails at noon to-morrow for Coromandel. The Ngatiawa, arriving from the Great Barrier at eleven o’clock this evening, sails again at noon to-morrow for To tar a North, Houhora, Kaimaumau and Parenga. She arrives back early next week. The Matangi, arriving from Tauranga at seven o’clock to-morrow morning, sails again at 7 p.m. the same day on the return trip. The Gunbar is now expected at Auckland next Wednesday from the East Coast and sails the following day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Kaitangata, from Greymouth, left Westport at 8 p.m. last Tuesday for Napier and Auckland, and should arrive here about Sunday. The Kartigi sailed from Westport at 7.30 a.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on Friday. The Waipiata, from Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru, leaves Lyttelton at 4 p.m. to-day for Wellington and Auckland. She is due here on Sunday, and after discharge loads at Auckland and proceeds probably direct to Lyttelton, thence Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Kamo sailed from Dunedin at 6 p.m. yesterday via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland, where she is due about Thursday next. The Kamona is to load at Greymouth to-morrow for Auckland, and will probably call at Westport and New Plymouth en route to Auckland.
