No Stop at Te Awamutu.— Although representations were made by the Te Awamutu Chamber of Commerce, the .Railway Department cannot see its way to allow the North-bound Limited to stop at Te Awamutu. The actingsecretary of the Railway Board wrote that the board regretted that it could not comply with the request, as a stop at Te Awamutu would mean later arrival at Auckland. The Limited was PV* on primarily for long-distance travellers. _
