NOTES Listeners will hear with disappointment of the refusal of the Wellington Racing Club to allow the meeting on January 21, 23 and 25 to be broadcast. The race meeting at Takapuna on the following Saturday and Monday will, however, be broadcast by IYA and the Forbury Park meeting on the Friday and Saturday by 4YA. It is a pity that the Wellington Club could not see its way clear to allow the race descriptions to be broadcast and thus fall in line with the other racing cubs throughout New Zealand. It is hoped that some arrangement will have been made before the next meeting. U.S.A.
