At the ■ St. Clair Swimming Club’s carnival held last night in fresh water baths. W. Cameron, of Wellington, swam a magnificent race In the final of the 50 yards intermediate, In which he was conceding as much as nine seconds start, and which he won by half a yard in the great time of 24 1- His swimming is making a big impression locally. Miss Kathleen Miller, New Zealand woman's 220 and 440yds champion, dead-heated for first place in the 66 2- women’s handicap with Miss C. Lang, to whom she conceded 13sec. Miss Miller registered the fast time of 43sec.
