PAEROA BRIDGE
READY IN TWO MONTHS It is expected that the construction of the reinforced steel and concrete bridge over the Ohinemuri River at Paeroa will be completed in about eight weeks. The estimated cost of th* bridge is £12,280, allocated between the Waihou and Ohinemuri Rivers improvement fund, £4,030; the Public Works Department fund, £5,250; Paeroa Borough Council, £1,650; and the Ohinemuri County Council, £1.350. Peculiar formation encountered In the river bottom made the use of special apparatus necessary, so that the estimate will be slightly exceeded.
