An advance payment based on Is 3d a lb. for superfine butter-fat is to be made by the Northern Wairoa Co-op. Dairy Coy. for cream supplied during December. The aggregate payout, amounting to £35,659 11s 3d, is well over £5,000 in advance of the payment made for the corresponding period of 1926, when the rate was Is Id a lb. The company’s new factory at Kirikopuni is rapidly nearing completion.
