TEAM ON TOUR MATCH AT TAURANGA (From Our Own Correspondent) TAURANGA, Monday. Twenty-four Waikato bowlers, including the executive of the South Auckland Bowling Centre, who are touring the Bay of Plenty, arrived here yesterday. Today they played a series of games against the Tauranga Club. Games of 25 heads were played and resulted as follows, the Tauranga team being mentioned first in each case: Smith, Ivory, G. Crowley, E. Crowley, 31 v. Masters, Mason, Meredith, Pilkington, 11; Green, Bickers, Moffatt, Forman, jun., 21 v. White, Parr, Warn ham, Going, 22; Ellery, Forman, sen., Teasey, Sharp, 19 v. Snell, Brunton, Prickett, Horton, 28; Mackay, R. McKenzie, Phillips, Woollams, 24 v. Doleman, Cole, Gordon, McFarlane, 19; Kingdon, Pemberton, Dive, Moncur, 27 v. The second match resulted: Kiddie, Teasey, Ivory, Cronin, 19 v. Masters, Mason, Meredith, Pilkington, 26: Guinness, Henderson, L. Crowley, Moncur, 19 v. Drube, Booth, Wycherley, Loveridge, 43; Playfair, Whiting, Phillips. Sharp 25, v. Dolman, Gordon, Cole, McFarlane, 11; Mackay, Snelgrove, Dive, Woollams, 16 v. Snell, Bruntcn, Pricket, Horton, 29; Green, Pemberton, Allely, E. Crowley, 17 v. White, Pair, Wernham, Going, 36; Ellery, Bickers, G. Crowley, Hammond, 29 v. Halliday, Boyce, Richards, James, 19. Aggregate: Tauranga, 125; Waikato, 164. Total: Tauranga 268: Waikato, 290. The South Auckland executive leaves to confer with the Te Puke Club in the morning. Three teams jilay the Tauranga South Club in the morning, and the whole party plays Te Puke in the afternoon, and then proceeds to Whakatane, Tane3tua. Opotiki and Rotorua.
