MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED

SMASH AT PAPATOETOE COLLISION WITH TRUCK The rider of a motor-cycle was severely injured in a collision with a motor-truck at Papatoetoe to-day just before one o’clock. Mr. M. Crofter, of Ellerslie, was turning into Station Road from Rangito Road, at Papatoetoe, when he came into collision with a motortruck belonging to the Green Lane Bagwasli Company. Mr. Crofter was severely cut about the head and body, and was removed to the Auckland Hospital by ambulance. His machine was badly smashed, but the motor-truck escaped without damage.
