MAN FOUND DEAD
GUN STRAPPED TO FOOT WELL-KNOWN RACING MAN Press Association. OTAKI, Monday. James George Poynter, a farmer residing at Te Horo, was found dead last night with the trigger of a shotgun strapped to his foot. The shot had entered his head. The deceased was well known in racing circles, having owned and trained horses. He was a son of the late Mr. Poynter, postmaster.
