Motor-Cycle Races Marred By Weather
MEETING AT MASTERTON Press Association. MASTERTON, Sunday. The Wairarapa Motor Club held its annual race meeting on the Taratahi Racecourse yesterday in showery weather. The wet track and intermittent showers caused riders a great deal of trouble. The club’s new system of racing ;,by classification instead of by handicap proved successful and was approved by riders. * P. Coleman broke a gearbox at his first start and took no further part in the meeting. Results: Novice Handicap, 5 miles. —W. J. Denby (23 h.p. Harley) scr, 1; J. Ashcroft (22 h.p.
