AUCKLAND CYCLING CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual meeting of Auckland Athletic and Cycling Club was held on Saturday evening, Mr. M. Oakes presiding. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Patron, Mr. G. Baildon; president, Mr. G. Henning; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. McMillan, E. V. Sutherland, T. Pardington, WColdicutt, P. Brodie, M. Quilkum, P. Richards, I. Fitt, R. Galvin, A. Macpherson, P. Hembllng, P. Faithful, H. Moe, T. Clarkson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Tonkin; assistant-secre-tary, Mr. C. Marriott; judges, Messrs. Bickman and Oakes; starter, Mr. C. Marriott; timekeepers, Mr. J. Tonkin and another to be elected; handicapper, Mr. M. Oakes; committee, Messrs. Knight', Willoughby, Hayes, George, White, Pelham, Derrick. It was decided to hold two races at Manger© on Saturday week, one over a mil© and a-half and the other over three miles. The sum of one guinea was voted to the St. John Ambulance Association.
