SEIZED OUTSIDE HOUSE COMMUNISTS IN FRANCE By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. PARIS, Thursday. The Chamber of Deputies, by 81© votes to 227, rejected a Socialist motion condemning the Government’s decision to arrest the four Communist deputies who were convicted of sedition, in connection with anti-military propaganda and speeches. Two of the convicted deputies, MM. Couturier and Cachin, attended the session in the Chamber, but were arrested immediately the House rose, and wer# taken away in motor-cars while their sympathisers cheered.—A. and N.Z.Sun.
