PIONEER FLIGHT MORE SECURITY NEEDED

Speaking at the annual dinner of the Motor Traders’ Association, Captain Hughes, president of the Aero Club of New South Wales, said he hoped a flight from Australia to New Zealand would never be attempted again until aerial transport had reached the secure stage of motor transport to-day. The great ffioneering flight just concluded the pioneering stage, and aviation was now passing beyond the stage when a flight of that kind was a matter for headlines.—A. and N.Z.
