LATE MRS. GODWYN D. SMITH

MEMORIAL SERVICE Mrs. Godwyn Dalrymple Smith, who died in Auckland recently at the age of 70, was born in London and arrived in Auckland with her parents as an infant. She married and for 32 years lived at Manurewa and also for six years at Papatoetoe. After her husband died early in 1916 she lived at Remuera. At the Remuera Methodist Church last Sunday a memorial service was held and the Rev. H. Ryan paid a high tribute to Mrs. Smith’s life-long loyalty : to her church. Mrs. Smith Ls survived by her j brother, Mr. .Thomas B. Worfolk, of I Remuera*
