READ GETS CENTURY HAMILTON, To-day. The match between Waikato and Canterbury was resumed to-day and at the luncheon adjournment, Canterbury in the first innings had made 317 for the loss of six wickets. Read carried on to-105 before being bowled by Going, while Newman, batting attractively, reached 75 before being caught by Senior off Going. The Read-New man partnership was very hard to break, the former batting solidly throughout, while the latter gave a stylish display. JUNIOR CRICKET REPS. TO PLAY AT WELLINGTON MEN CHOSEN TO PRACTICE The Auckland junior cricket representative team will leave Auckland on Sunday night, January 22 to commence play at Wellington. It is expected that they will return on the following Thursday. With a view to selection for the trip South the following players have been selected to practise for the Auckland junior representative team: F. Archer, N. Goldsworthy. J. Cowie, North Shore; J. R.
