UNSOLVED MYSTERY
BABY’S BODY IN TRUNK DEATH FROM ASPHYXIATION On August 22 last year the decomposed body of a male child was found in a trunk among left luggage at the railway station. A strip of cloth was tied round the child’s throat. Since then the police have made fruitless inquiries, and no trace has been found of the child’s parents or murderers. At the inquest, which was concluded this morning, a verdict that death was due to asphyxia was returned by the coroner.
