MR. A. KERR APPOINTED British Wireless—Press Assn.—Copyright RUGBY, Monday. The King has approved the appointment of Mr. Archibald Clark Kerr as Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary at Santiago de Chile.—A. and N.Z.
Mr. K©rr has been Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary in Guatemala since 1925. He entered the diplomatic service in 1906 and served at Berlin, Buenos Aires, Washington, Rome and Teheran. He served as a private in the Soots Guards in 1918.
