DECAUSE the response Trem " employers was insufficient to warrant the inquiries, the Labour Department has discontinued the practice it adopted during the past three yeare of circularising the achoolt of the Dominion to select boys for trades. Much time was ipant intending forms to schoolmasters, and hundreds of applications were received from boys. For tbeee youthful aspirants for positions, however, only two or three employers made Inquiries.
