DARGAVILLE GAIETY

A BUSY WEEK AHEAD Judging by the inquiries being made fo.r accommodation there will be a great influx of visitors to Dargaville this week. In addition to the races on Thursday and Saturday, Waipoua Forest Road will be officially opened by the Prime Minister on Friday, and if the weather holds good there will be a great gathering at the forest. The race track is in splendid order, though a trifle hard, and some fast times should be registered. Most of the horses have arrived and are exercising daily. All arrangements for the meeting are well in hand and a record gathering is anticipated.
