LOWER GRADE MATCHES In view of the Plunket Shield match at Eden Park only third and fourth grade A.C.A. cricket matches were played on Saturday. Results are as follows: Third Grade Papatoetoe v. Grafton. —Papatoetoe, first innings, 212 (J. Adams 63, J. McFarland 31, W. Kerr 21, Lusby 19 not out, Thompson 19, Sanderson 16, Gladding 12). Bowling for Grafton, Purdon took two wickets for 46, Hilton one for 42, Hansen one for 65, McGregor one for 24, Bainbridge two for 19. Grafton, first innings, 98 (H. A. Hansen 48, G. Bainbridge 18). Bowling for Papatoetoe, Thompson took two wickets for 9, Havlll three for 22, Adams three for 19, McKenzie one for 11, Wotherspoon one for 13. Grafton, second innings, 94 (Purdon 35, Hansen 26, G. McGregor not out 20). Bowling for Papatoetoe, Havill one for 13, Wotherspoon two for 12, Thompson one for 11, Sanderson two for 4. McFarland one for 4. Papatoetoe won by an innings and 20 runs. Western United v. City. —City, first innings, 34 (I-larriman 19). Bowling, Goldfinch took four for 14, Dobson four for 19. Second innings, 47 (Harriman 22). Bowling, Clement five for 42. Western United, first innings, 175 (Dobson 69, G. Jones 29). Bowling, Clement five for 42. Western United won by an innings and 94 runs. Fourth Grade All Saints v. Eden.— Eden, first innings, 31 (Reynolds 14). Second innings, 72 (Howard 23). Bowling: Counihan seven wickets, Swinley five wickets. All Saints, first innings. 135 for four wickets (Counihan 57 not out, Lindon 40 not out). All Saints won by an innings and 32 runs. Victoria v. Eden. —Eden, first innings, 54 (Wyberg 24, Isherwood 22). Second innings 34 (Wyberg 12). Victoria, first innings, 164 for four wickets (G. Olsson 22, Middleton 60, Ellis 38 not out). Victoria won by an innings and 66 runs. Glebe v. C.C.C.C. —Glebe, first innings, 133 (Preston 42, McLoughlin 28, Cook 24, Brambley 22). Second innings, 41. Bowling for C.C.C.C., S.
