WEST END TOURNEY
West End played an afternoon tournament in two sections on Saturday for prizes presented by Mr. G. H. Plummer, the president. Four games of six heads were played, and the results were:— A Section.—Sands, Lovatt, P. Darby, E. Pierce, 3 wins; Barter, Adams, W. Hardley, I. Clarke, 3J wins; Service, E. Darby, McKeown, TV orsfold, 1 win; Ashford, Anderson, Tnomas, Maher, 2 wins; Hardy, Cornwall, Kirk, Whitten, 1 win; Reid, Raynes, Freeman, Wynyard, 2i wins; Herdman, Eggington, Hill, Bell, 3 wins; Peat, Bremford, Price, Potter, no wins. Clarke won the section. B Section. —Schneideman, Tudehope, Adeane, B. Scott, no wins; Simpson, Parkinson, W. White, R. H. Scott, 1 win; Cato, Cox, Draffin, Cooke, 1 win; Bater, Knox, Horsley’, Ure, 2 wins; Hedlund, J. W. Hardley, Noton, Wise, 4 wins; Ramsay, Knaggs, Kirkham; Thompson, 2 wins; G. Wilson, Mortimer, Haig, Garry, 3 wins; Cole, Harris, Murpny, Watson, 3 wins. Wise won the section. . In the play-off Wise defeated Clarke.
