ARSON ALLEGED
OLD MAN CHARGED PECULIAR CIRCUMSTANCES Frederick Watkins, aged 60, was charged at the Police Court to-day with attempted arson. HE was charged that, on January 6, he had attempted to set fire to No. 5 Union Street, premises occupied by Maria Bottles. _ Sub-Inspector McCarthy said that the case seemed to be one of mental aberration rather than criminal intent.
