YOUTHFUL MURDERER
HICKMAN PLEADS INSANITY By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright . LOS ANGELES, Friday. The youth Hickman, who is charged with the murder of the schoolgirl, Marion Parker, and who confessed to having committed another murder, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to the indictment charging him with complicity in the murder of Ivy Thoms, a Los Angeles druggist. The plea is an admission of his guilt, and makes the state of his mind the sole issue.—A. and N.Z.
