BEACH HAVEN CABARET
NEW" YEAR DANCE
On New Year's Night a large crowd assembled at the Beach Haven Cabaret in celebration of the New Year. This cabaret has proved very popular during the holidays and with its fine situation overlooking the harbour, and good floor and music, it has been a big attraction to North Shore residents. Streamers, balloons and paper hats helped the merriment on New Year’s Night and an enjoyable time was spent. Among those present were: Miss E. Ross, frock of cyclamen crepe de chine, with sequin trimmings. Miss Creedon, mauve georgette, beaded with crystal. Miss A. Heaton, mauve voile georgette, inset with lace. Miss M. Ross, white crepe de chine, trimmed with lace. Miss E. Fernandez, green crepe de chine. Miss I. Heaton, blue floral crepe de chine. Miss A. Creedon, blue taffetas and silver lace. Miss Reid, blue and white striped fuji. Miss Bauer, black crepe de chine, trimmed with blue. Miss J. Stayte, fugi jumper, white crepe de chine skirt. Miss B. Jepson, green crepe de chine. Miss D. Casey, pale pink crepe de chine. Miss K. Jepson, green crepe de chine, trimmed with lace. Miss P. Stayte, blue and silver frock of taffetas. Miss Turnbull, blue striped fugi. : Miss E, Jepson, pale green georgette, inset witn lace. Miss L. Thorburn, crystal beaded frock of green georgette. Miss B. Stayte, silver beaded frock of pale blue georgette. Miss N. Stokes, pink and white voile. Miss James, vieux. rose taffetas. Miss D. Burford, pink and white patterned voile. Miss T. Couch, sea green georgette, trimmed with lace.
