PAPER VENDOR HURT
CHAIR OVERTURNED As John Edwards, a newspapervendor, was crossing Victoria Street in a bath-chair about 8.20 last evening. his chair was overturned by a passing motor-car and he was thrown on the road. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital suffering from severe head injuries, and was unconscious. His condition this morning had improved slightly, but the full extent of his injuries is not yet known.
