WANGANUI CHAMPIONSHIPS FRESH-WATER TIMES (Special to THE SUN.J WANGANUI, To-day. In the Wanganui Centre District Swimming Championships last night, Norman Dowsett created a new freshwater record. Stratton will be swimming in the intermediate grade at Dunedin.

An intermediate boy, Hector Gowan, established a new local record for 220 yards, covering the distance in 2min 50sec, being 12 2-ssec better than last year’s time.
