HUNTLY MAN’S DEATH
MR. C. W. ATTRILL f (From Our Own Correspondent) HUNTLY, To-day. The death occurred at Hamilton Hospital on Monday last of Mr. Charles Waterford Attrill, a well-known resident of this town. Deceased, who was born at Churchill, Lower "Waikato, had attained the age of 57 years and was a patient sufferer from miner’s complaint for a long period. A resident of Huntly practically for 40 years, he was on the underground staff at Huntly of the Taupiri Extended Company, and assigned about four years ago owing to failing health. Mr. Attrill leaves behind him a widow knd five children, three boys and two fcirls, all grown up. The funeral took Place at Kimihia on Wednesday afternoon, the chief mourners being the deceased’s widow and family, Messrs. Robert, Bernard and Douglas, and Misses Bertha and Lola Attrill. The Rev. J. W. Robinson read the ourial service in the presence of a number of sympathising friends. Old vv aikatoiteß will remember the late gentleman as a keen sportsman, an ex- , aikato Rugby player, and a firstc!a *a shot.
