LOS ANGELES OUTRAGE ADMISSION TO JUDGE By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright LOS ANGELES, Tuesday. The youth Hickman, who is charged with the murder of Marion Parker, appeared before the court at Los Angeles to-day. He pleaded “not guilty, by reason of insanity, to the kidnapping charges.” January 25 is set down as the date for the trial on the double indictment.

The presiding judge said to Hickman: “E>o you realise that in pleading not guilty by reason of insanity you are admitting the murder?” Hickman replied: “Yes, your Honour.”—A. and N.Z.
