The Government has invited each ). the South American Republics to appoint a woman representing its beauty and ence to take part in the ceremonies connected with the Spanish-*' lerican Exhibition to be held in Seville in the autumn. The Spanish Government will defray the cost of the journey and the expenses of the visit. It will send a warship to America to convey the beauties to Spain and home again.— A. and N.Z.
