NEGOTIATIONS PROCEEDING By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. LONDON, Monday. The ‘ Evening Standard'* says negor rations are proceeding on the Continent for the formation of an interrational zinc syndicate, to include Britain. Germany, Belgium, and Poland. Previous negotiations failed through f he antagonism of American producers, ut it is understood the Americans now gree to the present proposals, which include the reduction of output by 5 cent. Probably a European agreement will eventuate, and be followed rry a world agreement, including America.—A. and N.Z.
