N.S.W. AND NEW ZEALAND BENEFITS OUTLINED By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 11.15 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. The Chief Secretary of the State, Mr. A. Bruntnell, is considering tlio enlargement of a scheme of exchange of detectives. He says an instance of how the interchange system could bo enlarged is afforded by the fact that no arrangement exists with the New Zealand police. Therefore, when a man arrives here from across the Tasman on escort or other duty, he is not officially recognised here, and goes back without a lot of knowledge w hich might be useful to the police in his native country, were it not that redtape prevented him from acquiring it.—A. and N.Z.
