HAROLD LLOYD’S HEALTH
NEW YORK UNSUITABLE Harold Lloyd is all for New York as a place to meet charming people and receive a hospitable welcome at places of entertainment. But, he fears, it is not quite the place to make his pictures.
When he first landed in New York from Hollywood he encountered two weeks of dark and rainy weather which prevented outdoor photography, and his company had to remain idle. Then came a period of industry in which he just about got even with schedule. Later there was the interruption of a deep cold ivhich kept him at home for over a week. It was not serious, because his robust constitution and regular habits enabled him to throw off infection, but to such annoyances he is not accustomed.
He expects to soon complete his picture and return home.
