BRASS BAND ON TOUR
BALCLUTHA BOYS' BAND The Balclutha Boys’ Brass Band is now touring Auckland. The boys, although quite young, their ages ranging from nine to sixteen years, are **aid to be all good players. They will give a series of concerts commencing tomorrow evening, with a performance in the Newmarket Square. On Saturday afternoon they will play on Cheltenham beach and in the evening at Albert Park. They will be at Point Chevalier on Monday afternoon and again at Albert Park in the evening at 8 o’clock. The band has a varied repertoire, including selections from works by Wagner, Rimmer and Lithgow. There will also be several solo items with band accompaniment.
