CROSSING TRAGEDY IN FRANCE HAN’S MIRACULOUS ESCAPE S> CoWe.—Press Association Copyright. Seed. 9.5 a.m. PARIS, Tuesday. An express at a level crossing near Cbinoa crashed into a car containing l Frenchman, his son, wile and daughtsr and a friend. The last three were crushed to death tod the father seriously injured. The son had a miraculous escape. He was thrown forward on the track and landed in the middle of the metals. He had the presence of mind to lie flat until the train passed, receiving only a few scratches.—A. and N.Z.-Sun.
